6:30 - 7:00 Occupant Load / Required Plumbing Fixtures with Room Schedules – Bryan Chun, Hickok Cole Architects
Most people can manage simple Room schedules to run a calculated value of Area / 100 SF per Person, to output an Occupant Load, this is relatively straight forward. But like everything else with Revit, this is merely the tip of the iceberg.
You will see some schedule tricks that a user can set a room parameter and a room schedule will automatically output the occupant load for a floor. For plumbing fixture counts, which can be tricky, you will see formula tricks that allow you to apply calculated values on Grand Totals, and subsequently output the code required plumbing fixtures.

7:00 - 7:30 Coordinating Duplicated A/E Component & Family Content
Mike Jeon, CSI, CDT, CADD Microsystems
Mike will present ideas on how to collaborate between multiple disciplines in the Revit environment. He will show the coordination of Structural (Slabs, beams, columns, framed openings) and MEP (Light fixtures, plumbing fixtures) components to Architectural models. He will also discuss family content and how it behaves in linked environments with face based and wall/ceiling based content. |

7:30 - 8:00 A Word About Parameters - Christopher Fernandez, CADD Microsystems, Inc.
See how understanding what parameter works best where will make family creation easier. |
