7:00 - 7:20 Rounding Issues – Bryan Chun, Hickok Cole Architects
Revit has the capability for extraordinary precision, calculating Room Areas to increments of 0.0000001 SF. However more often than not, we want to present Room Areas as round values, that are easy to comprehend. Revit’s built-in rounding feature is a step in the right direction, but there are a number of limitations. Most notably, rounding a Grand Total in a Schedule can lead to the perception that “Architects can’t add.” Bryan will discuss schedule tips and tricks to avoid this potential problem.
